Small Claims Tribunal Registry

The Small Claims Tribunal Registries are located at various court centres. The Officer in charge is responsible for the functions of the registry. You will find very helpful staff ready to assist you at any time. The Registry:

  • Issues claim forms and Registers all claims;
  • Maintains proper records and files;
  • Controls all file movements;
  • Lists files before a Referee and prepare orders;
  • Receives payments, fees, prepares payment vouchers, bank lodgements and dispatch cheques
  • Issues enforcements e.g. JDS, Bench warrants, FIFA and O/C;
  • Updates data records;
  • Answers all Small Claims Tribunal related queries at the counter and take phone calls

The three main Divisional Registries are situated in;
